Since 1998, our unique approach has empowered students to pursue their passions in a self-directed and community-focused environment. By learning in a democratic community modeled after Sudbury Valley School, Fairhaven students become liberated from the constraints of standardized testing and grading and have a space where they can truly be themselves.

At Fairhaven School, enrollment is open year-round. Our flexible model allows students to join anytime, fitting smoothly into our self-directed learning community without missing a step.
